Garalon finally down

After quite a few very frustrating raids, where we hardly got to try him out due to people not being able to raid, we finally managed to down Garalon! Huzza for us (we will avoid talking about the 0.1 sec enrage timer)!

Not only did we get him down, we also managed to get Wind Lord Mel’jarak down just before the raid ended. Double huzza!

We had a lot of problems getting people to sign due to IRL before christmas, but after some diskussions we have now set the new raid days to Tuesdays and Thursdays, which payed of immediately after the winter break. Earlier this winter we had around 1 raid per reset, witch didnt help since we couldnt progress with the limited time we had. But now with the two raid days, we can finally progress, and we did! Great job today guys :)

We have also welcomed a couple of new and old faces to Inquisitor, including Iponu, our own cuddly daddy bear. The community has grown quite a bit since MoP came out, and we hope that more old (and new) people will join us soon.

PS: I also got some phats, so now i look cool(er)!

INQUISITOR finally on the right track

After a few weeks where we have filled the raids with random people we finally managed to get a complete Inquisitor guild run in Mogu’shan Vaults and we ended up clearing it all for the first time. Elegelon went down after a couple of semi good tries and the Will of the Emperor went down after just 3 tries, with a very retarded whipe on the second try at 8% . It really felt like old times and we had a blast. It looks like we are finally on the right track and with some more people incoming I see a bright future for the community.

We also upped the raiding to two days instead of just one. With this change we will be able to clear Mogu’shan Vaults every reset and get started with Heart of Fear and maybe have it cleared with in a couple of resets, and then we can move on to Terrace of endless spring and heroics after that. But if i know my crew we will probably get HoF down before the second reset.

For any random player that wishes to raid on a semi casual level, you are welcome to send me application on the forum with the following information:
- Your WoW history
- Raid experience
- Short why you want to join Inquisitor

Atm we are mostly looking for 1 healer (not priest) and a tank.

INQUISITOR is looking for new members

Since World of Warcraft – Mist of Pandara was released a lot of old core members have ventured back to take up wepons to fight back the hord and to explore the new continent of Pandara. Inquisitor has not been raid active since the early instances in Cataclysm but some of us has got back the desire to raid again. We will never be as active in raiding as we where back in the old days, but we do want to try to raid more casual. So we are trying to get some people together 1 time per week to start clearing normal raid content to start with.

At the moment we are lacking some classes to get a constant group going. What we are looking for are mostly healer, a tank and the odd ranged dps:
- 1-2 healers, pref palla, shaman or druid (no priest!)
- 1 warlock
- Monk/druid tank

If you are looking for a guild to call home, we might be the place for you. Apply by PM:ing Centrius on the forum with the following information:
- Your WoW history
- Raid experience
- Short why you want to join Inquisitor

A very important note: if you are not a very social person, who dont like to interact with ppl online in the guild, then this is not the place for you. The most important thing is that you as a person integrate into our community and that you bring a positiv attitude.

PS: A small poke to our old team members: Come back! Ged will make you cookies!

Update from the Inquisitor Guild Wars 2 division

First off, during the last couple of weeks we have had a steady stream of people joining our ranks and now, when we are nearing launch, we have 30+ confirmed members. We have both vetarans who have been with us from the World of Warcraft days, all the way back from 2005, people from our great SWTOR team and a couple of new people who we have welcomed with open arms.

In Inquisitor we are all one big family
We are not a new guild. We started off way back in early 2005, when two World of Warcraft guilds merged into one, thus creating Inquisitor. During the last 1½ years we have chosen to expand to other games, like SWTOR and Battlefield 3 to name a few. Though our Guild Wars 2 division right now count 30+ members, we are more than 100 members in total spread over a few different games.

We have now set our eyes on Guild Wars 2. Already having a good base of players, we always welcome new, mature players, who wish to play in a friendly guild with a great atmosphere. In Inquisitor we are mature and ages are more distributed towards the mid-late twenties, but we do have some young sheep in the herd. Our community is what drives our players and the social aspect is a big part of the guild. During the World of Warcraft days we meet up ones per year to have an IRL party (6 to date) and it was always great fun and hopefully we can continue this great tradition in the future.

We are mostly a Scandinavian guild, but we welcome all nationalities in our ranks. In the past, we have had people from Italy, Greece, Poland and even a stray American. We want to be among the best, yet we dont have an elitist mindset. We are going to be casual in Guild Wars 2 and enjoy the game but we will always strive to go that extra mile if needed.

Join us!
We are serious about saving Tyria from despair and we want other dedicated players to join our ranks. Come launch we look forward to many hours of fun and epic battles to unfold. If you want to get on for a ride, we will be more than happy to welcome you in our big family!

We are looking for casual Guild Wars 2 players

This post will contain some information about us as a guild and what we are looking for in YOU!

We are a casual Guild Wars 2 branch under Inquisitor looking for more players to join our ranks. We focus both on PvP and PvE content and have both casual and hardcore gamers. Due to our small size we wish to expand and strive for bigger things. We are currently using the Inquisitors VT-server as our main way of in-game communication. Most of the current members have been playing the beta weekend events and we love the game so far. Most of us have also played for a long time in games such as World of Warcraft and SWTOR.

Do you love the game? Do you strive for better things? Do you want to be a part of a tight-knit community? Do you want to p00n the living daylight out of other players in PvP? Then join us and experience the endless fun! All classes and races are welcome. You dont have to have any prior gaming experience, as long as you are willing to learn and have fun. We help one another and take care of eachother. Sounds like something you’d love to be a part of? Sign up on our forum and contact Centrius or Camilla for further information.
